Forget About It

It's nice that someone would invite me to there house for a holiday dinner but if I saw a dead cockroach that's it I'm not eating anymore. I would pretend to get sick and excuse myself to the bathroom and pretend to throw up and say when I get back, "I'm not feeling so good I think something is upseting me. I think I'm getting some type of stomach flu. I shouldn't eat anymore, I should just let my belly rest," however I would still behave appropriate and have manners. But for real that's gross. Although I would be straving for food, I wouldn't eat anymore, becausd that would turn me off big time. I''m kind of obsessvie compulsive when it comes to my food and being clean. Now I'm not saying there not clean or anything, but I'm not eating! Sorry that's just me!

Spring Break

Can you scream BUSY!! I did not get any sleep cause I was always around doing something. I mostly helped out with church. There was a children's revival all week and I just helped to set up the church, and help the kids with the cues and stuff. But I have to say they were soooo cute! They preached great sermons and sang so beautiful. Honestly it was so cute. But other than that I just chilled with friends and went to the University of Guelph and McMaster University. On Thursday I went to Guelph University and I hated it. Well not hated it I just don't think it's the right school for me. I just didn't get the feel of it. However on Friday I went to McMaster University and I LOVED IT! I felt like that was the university for me. But I'm not being to hasty to soon. I applied to six university so I'm still gonna wait on the responses. I got accepted in McMaster and Ryerson., so if I get accepted into Wilfrid Laurier I might go there. I'm just gonna keep on waiting. Then on Sunday I rushed to do do my homework. That basically it in a nut shell that's my march break. Just busy.

Thank God For Man

I have to say humans are not as dumb as we think at times. Look at all the things we have created. But I have to say the most beautiful man made object has to be technology. Now I understand that technology is a vast subject, but we are so prone to the technology that if something happened now, we could not operate. I love my phone. Whoever thought of making a wireless phone that you can carry around was brilliant! Way- to- go! So I guess in the end my cellular phone is the most beautiful man-made object.

Most annoying sounds

Um i really don't know, when it happens, that is when I can't stand it. But I would have to say

When kids are whiny. All kids, that's annoying.

Day 0

On Wednesday February 21, 2007 we had our Pathways Conference. Honestly in grade twelve, I sometimes feel that this "Pathways Conference," is a bit to much. I mean if I don't have work to catch up on, I'll come to school, but I am way to busy for that. I mean it's really great and all, don't get me wrong, and I think it benefits the the students in grades 9, 10, and 11. But by grade twelve I think we should be able to know where and what we're going to do in, life. We should be preparing for university and scholarships. There is just to much work to be done in this final year. So on this specific day I slept in and started on my law, calculus and data management homework and got right into it. Calculus and Data Management are my requirements for university, that's what I'am focusing on right now. I think it is great that the school is bringing in guest speakers and trying to help students get on the right path, it really does help. These conferences can be the very thing that changes someone's career choice and life.

The Perfect Day In

Wednesday February 14, 2007 was the most perfect day ever! The GTA and other areas in Ontario was in warning of a snow storm that was coming our way within a couple of days. But on that day, man, did we get it. We got 17 cm of snow, which is not a lot compared to the other cities that got hit harder, however remember this whole winter we didn't have any snow. So when we got this whole dump of snow at one time, we were shocked. Plus the temperature was like -30 which is extremely cold. I was in the middle of getting ready for schoool, when my mom told me it was to cold and there was to much snow to go to school. My reaction was, 'why didn't she tell me this before, so I didn't have to get up?' Anyway I said fine, looked outside, shocked as heck, laughed and got back in bed. The whole day I was like a bum. All I did was sleep and read my books and stay in bed and eat. It was just my relaxation day, cause I knew that the next day would be hectic, I just wanted to enjoy relaxing. So that's what I did and i enjoyed every minute of it!

School Relfections

Don't you hate the first week of school sometimes? It's so much talking and the teacher's have to do all that formal stuff during the first week. I wanted to get right into the work. But the first week we always take it easy. It's been a pretty good week, I can't complain. Haven't had that much homework, been getting my sleep and eating my lunch regularly, but I can always sense when the work is going to come, and I feel it's going to come all at one time.
This year I have; Web Design, Law, Advance Funtions and an Introductory to Calculus and Data Managment. I like my first two courses, but those maths are going to kick my butt! I'm not so good at math, but i need it for my program in university; Business Aminsitration or also known as Commerce.
I mean math is not my best subject. It's the one subject that can make me feel so stupid. It's really hard and quite frankly I don't think there is anything good about it. Sometimes I think it's a waste of time. Some things I do in math, I'm not going to apply them to my life in the future. It gets so frustrating. However, law is cool. I like law. It must be because I like to argue. I wanted to become a lawyer at one point but I changed my mind. What I like about law is that it allows you to really think about our laws and the actons of people. It even challenges you to question your own beliefs and how you can support those beliefs. It's just altogther pretty cool. Web design is different. It's like art, bring your creativity to the computer. It's just one of those cool courses, that aren't nessecarily easy, cause you do have to work at it, but it's fun.
So I get my report card today and it's pretty good. I got an 84.3 % average. I got 90% in Internationally Business, got 85% in Drama, 81% in Writers Craft and English. So I was pretty pleased. I really worked hard last semester. So I just need to keep working hard. Even if I wanted to go on vacation and go to Cuba or Flordia I can't, I have to stay focused. Man birds are so lucky! LOL!
